In July 2024, I was invited to document the crowning of the 2024–2025 Mashpee Wampanoag Powwow Princess, Ciara Hendricks, during the tribe’s annual celebration. It was an honor to witness and photograph such a powerful gathering rooted in culture, tradition, and community.

These images were later featured in a story by TODAY and serve as a reflection of my deep respect for the people and moments I’m trusted to capture.
